The PDA market is in a seemingly endless slump, nothing since the last of the AXIMs and the HP iPAQ series has shown any significant improvement in power or features. When it comes to hand-held computing Moore’s Law just doesn’t seem to apply.

The HP iPAQ 214 is no exception to this modern trend, but it’s a rare and thus warmly welcomed addition to the choice of non-mobile-phone PDAs on the market with some pretty impressive specifications that far eclipse those of the HTC Kaiser and similar current popular Windows Mobile phones.
