Arcam’s compact Solo Mini

Building on the success of Arcam’s Solo the Solo Mini takes modern trends to their extremes and brings us a sleeker, smaller Solo that even manages to slim the price tag down to a respectable £650 sans speakers.

This miniaturised version of the Solo retains all the performance of its bigger brother and sacrifices just a little loudness whilst being still powerful enough to fill a good sized room for a party or serious music listening.

The Arcam Solo Mini packs the CD player, amplifier, DAB radio and iPod/mp3/USB device support into its single compact aluminium faced box. Everything is accessible via a simply and intuitive operating system and controls have been cleverly placed along the top front edge. There’s even a clock radio with wake to CD or Radio functionality. All this audio goodness is delivered via the 25 watt per channel amplifier.

As a product of Arcam’s 30 years Hi-fi experience and with a re-assuring price tag the Solo Mini is set to impress style and space conscious audiophiles in March 2008.
