Mass Effect - Xbox 360

Review by Johnus Maximus

Commander Shepard (male)

Mass Effect, an immersive futuristic rpg that despite some minor flaws offers an exciting cinematic rpg experience that most 360 owners should find enjoyable.

While the gameplay itself does not offer anything more innovative than any other game in this genre, what really makes this game special is the overall presentation of the story that takes place, especially with regard the music and dialogue.

SlouchPod XT. Ultimate Gaming Furniture?

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

I can’t keep eyeing up the SlouchPod XT, I know it’s old news but it may be the ultimate in gaming furniture short of a grands worth of reclining home cinema seat that I would never fit in my living room in a thousand years. £300 doesn’t seem insane for a chair/speaker hybrid but I could get a Halo branded Xbox 360 for that!

If anyone wants to buy one and tell me if it’s any good, go right ahead!

Available in Black, Red and Silver with the former two very tastefully combining their primary colour with silver accented styling it’s almost certain to impress. Of course looks aren’t everything; the Caplio R6, successor to the R5, packs some admirable specifications in its stylish, diminutive body. Ricoh have cheated somewhat, however, to get the “thinnest-point” thickness claim of their camera down leaving the Caplio R6 with a number of irksome protrusions.
