Although I’ve been an iPhone fan since the 3G, I’ve often strayed away from Apple’s handset to explore other avenues. The Nokia N900 stole me away from the 3Gs, and now the rush of newer, better Android phones are threatening to steal my attention from the iPhone 5.
At the moment the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the coal that fuels my desires, and as my iPhone 4 contract draws to a close I’m keeping a close eye on it. The Samsung Galaxy Note also looks like a good contender, and really brings me back to those PDA days when phones were phones and PDAs did all the fancy stuff.

Yes, it seems like this might be a precursor to the iPhone 5 and a last ditch attempt to snag more Android users before Apple blows everything out of the water with something new and shiny, but if you weren’t considering an iPhone anyway it’s a good deal.
